Description

Brief: Reinforce connection between Honda brand and users by creating new driving experiences for all drivers.

Execution: Future of Car Navigation with Smartphone. Via networks, HondaLink unites all information related to cars and people into one experience. Through animated versions of Honda cars around the world, owners can have conversations with their cars. Real-time information on the cars’ maintenance is delivered. The newest and most detailed maps and traffic information is constantly provided through networks. All histories you have shared with all of the cars you have owned are recorded. Results: starting with Thailand, HondaLink will expand globally to over 60 countries. This innovative information distribution service is being downloaded by countless users benefiting their car-trips. Connected through HondaLink, Honda and dealerships around the world now profoundly understand the relationship between users and their cars, and are able to provide the most suitable service to each individual user.

Execution

We launched a film that focuses on emotionally communicating what each driver’s life will be like with HondaLink in it. Then they could check out more details about HondaLink and what it benefits it can offer them on Honda’s official website. The app was available for download in App store or Play Store to everyone around the world! Starting from Thailand, HondaLink will be provided to all Honda users in over 60 countries.

Outcome

For Consumers: Through animated versions of their cars owners can now have conversations with them. Real-time information on the cars’ maintenance and traffic is offered. Maps and traffic info is constantly updated and never becomes outdated through networks. All of the histories you have shared with all of the cars you have owned are recorded. With HondaLink, new and unique companionships were born between consumers and their cars.

For Client: Connected through HondaLink, Honda and dealerships around the world now profoundly understand the relationship between users and their cars, and are able to provide the most suitable service to each individual user. The client was able to communicate to the world that they are a brand that offers more to consumers than just cars, it offers new experiences and car lifestyles to each driver and their car.
