Description

Hiro, lived life to the fullest.

Family, friends, sports, romance, work … he lived it all, so freely…

Then, one day, ALS caught him.

Now, he cannot move his arms, legs, lungs, anything, except his eyes.

However, thanks to technological infrastructures by companies like Adobe, Hiro still enjoys cracking jokes with friends and family, watching movies, even going out, through friends on social media. He still even works.

Although he lost his voice to a tracheotomy, and cannot make the slightest sound, he proudly yells his love for the world … and that he is still free, and still very much alive . .

Initially created for internal use for the Adobe’s 2014 end of year worldwide sales conference, to display the brand’s extensive role in the world.

Adobe’s Japan office teamed up with an NPO group END ALS, which was established by an ALS patient/ McCann employee to end the terrible disease..

The film received the first ever Honorary Award at the film festival of the conference. Then upon the client’s request, the film has been made public “in the digital world” and currently considering further exposure.
