The concept was to reach the VHV’s target audience for the company’s reasonably priced car insurance with an innovative and surprising promotion at an unusual place: in traffic itself.Using printable adhesive foil, we added an image of two cars that had collided onto a stretch limousine. The limo was driven throughout Hamburg during a winter day, when road-driving conditions were particularly poor due to ice and snow. This led passers-by and drivers alike to see VHV’s car insurance ad.
Outcome
With the support of VHV’s regional management and distribution partners in the Hamburg area the promotion received positive feedback not only from consumers but also from VHV’s own staff. Additionally VHV benefited from pictures, videos and press coverage of the limousine that generated further indirect but effective advertising impact.
