Description

As the visionary behind the critically-acclaimed racing video game series Grand Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi has spent the last 20 years in a fever dream; a humble artist at the eye of a $2.5 billion hurricane. Racing and video games are merely ports of call for the film, which unfolds as a story of genuine passion. In doing so it draws parallels to other artists – an origami artist, a sculptor and a surfboard shaper – in an effort to aggregate that which drives people to dedicate their lives to the perfection of a single craft.

KAZ: Pushing The Virtual Divide takes viewers behind the polygons of this PlayStation franchise to uncover Kazunori’s extraordinary efforts and indomitable spirit in recreating reality, and in doing so, giving the game a life of its own.
