Background
Lay's launched a new initiative called Lay's RePlay to bring joy to communities. This has been done through the repurposing of empty bags of chips which were then turned into football pitches.
Not only do these pitches bring immense joy and increased wellbeing to local communities, but as they are sustainable, they can be fully recycled at the end of their life span. This initiative was founded alongside local partners to build educational sporting programs that use football to address social issues impacting individuals and neighborhoods in underserved communities.
The program aligns with Lay's global brand purpose of filling the world with joy, and providing a way for people to enjoy Lay's chips while also contributing to a greater cause. With RePlay, the positive change will exist for generations to come.
