The agency/client brief called for a new approach that would attract the youth market to one of Australia’s largest and most-established banks.

To achieve this aim, we gathered an ensemble of 4 of our younger, emerging directors who would work with Garth Davis as their mentor.

The biggest production challenge was managing and fulfilling the vision of each individual director with all their multiple different styles and approaches, and keeping everything on track to maintain an overall cohesiveness to the core idea whilst weaving together a mix of drama, colour, magic, multi-media, scale and intimacy.

This also applied through the substantial animation and vfx processes as well.

It also meant bringing the agency and client along on a unique journey, having to trust, and be open to so many different voices and ideas. It scared them, it pushed them and it thrilled them.
