In June 2014, Marriott International launched an inclusive, multi-platform marketing campaign called #LoveTravels. #LoveTravels is a provocative campaign that communicates a universal message about being who you are, wherever you travel. To bring #LoveTravels to life, Marriott partnered with photographer Braden Summers to share exclusive and powerful images celebrating inclusion amongst the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.
Marriott International joined Capital Pride as a Presidential Sponsor and the Presenting Sponsor of the Capital Pride Parade. To coincide with the Capital Pride Celebration, Braden Summers’ visually stunning images for #LoveTravels were unveiled as building wraps at five premier Marriott International hotels in Washington, D.C., a series of print ads in LGBT media, an online portrait and display ads in cities throughout the U.S.
