Description

Every year, Diageo produces a range of special releases selected from very rare or now closed distilleries. This year, the premium spirits house introduced three more to its range, one of which was the Mannochmore 18-Year Old.

1. To design a look & feel consistent with the Special Releases selection but with a bespoke visual identity befitting of its character and the benefit of the distillery.

Execution

For Mannochmore, we looked to its environment and incorporated the region's native greater spotted woodpecker. The 18 holes that perforate the box packaging refer to both the age of the spirit as well as the wood maturation this whisky undergoes.

Outcome

A boxed whisky produced in very limited quantities, it retailed for £200 but is now sold out.
