Execution
We presented V.I.Ps with an individually-numbered and signed piece of history, and a DVD showing ‘the making of’. Not only did each unique artwork embody the true mark of a champion, the film captured the heritage of tennis in Australia, raising the profile of this Grand Slam tennis event on the world stage.
Outcome
From just 50 pieces including ‘The making of’ film that were bestowed on the world’s most influential tennis dignitaries, we attracted attention from across the globe. The online charity auction for just one piece garnered interest from as far as Sweden. Then the media picked up on the story and aired the film during the tennis broadcast for zero media cost, reaching 1.7 million people – nearly 10% of Australia’s population, helping to drive the auction price higher. Raising funds for the Roger Federer Foundation and in turn, raising the profile of Australia’s Grand Slam tennis event.
