Background

With the introduction of iPhone X, we had to launch Face ID and show off its many benefits. One of its most exciting features is that that it logs you into apps and websites with just your face - which means you don’t have to worry about remembering those passwords anymore. Or experience the stress of forgetting one.

Execution

This film tells the story of a young man we can all relate to as he is forced to remember — his own password. We created an entire world inside this young man’s head. We used every tool at our disposal to heighten the drama and stress of the moment throughout the execution. The costuming and casting of the pompous audience, an original score, Hitchcock-era lenses, the dressing and grandeur of the stage, the stressful sound design, the giant painting of the train bearing down on him, the ticking clock, the gilded red button, the fast paced editing, and the ominous monolith table he is seated at. The world we wanted the viewer to experience with our hero while watching this film was as crafted as possible. Nobody should have to experience this much stress just to access your bank account. Thankfully, with Face ID you won’t have to.
