During the spring and summer 2000, Critical Mass undertook a complete redesign of MBUSA.com. The challenges: to further extend the Mercedes Benz brand to the digital arena, to uphold the integrity of MBUSA's highly recognizable image, to underscore the distinguishing featues of Mercedes-Benz products, and to enhance the site by adding sections according to growth and enhancement strategies. Critical Mass responded to these challenges by creating a site that conveys the richness and quality of the Mercedes-Benz experience. Unified by a contemporary template, the site offers simplified navigation, stunnin web-optimized graphics, and concise, compelling copy. True to the Critical Mass belief in the importance of e-CRM, the new MBUSA.com customizes the Mercedes Experience by providing registered members with Online Portfolios, where they can save vehicle configurations, select and contact their preferred MB Retail Centers, and update their profiles. This elegant, award winning site sets the standard for automative websites. It's the site that launched the automative industry's first "Build Your Own" configurator - a tool that allows visitors to customize Mercedes-Benz vehicles in real time.
