Description
We created the first McDonald’s MiniChef competition, taking advantage of the boom in cooking shows; the most viewed TV Shows.
Execution
Step 1:
Inviting people to participate through social networks.
We invited parents to send photos of gourmet dishes prepared by their children.
Step 2:
235 children participated, and from those we chose 20 finalists for the McDonald’s Chile MiniChef grand finale.
Step 3:
Using McDonald’s ingredients, the children came up with their best creations.
Outcome
Hundreds of children shared their photo on social networks to participate.
More than 50,000 online views of the competition.
The first two McDonald’s MiniChefs.
A 10% increase in sales compared to the previous year.
