Description

This site was developed to introduce Miss Green, the sexy new spokescandy character for Mars Inc. M&M's product. A key objective was to create an entertaining interactive brand experience that appeals to a broad target group. This resulted in Love Letters Live, a lively and humorous webshow in which visitors exchange anonymous love letters via Miss Green. The site is accessed primarily through bannering at popular consumer sites. The love letters concept provides extensive opportunities for viral marketing. In technical terms, the site represents a highly quality translation of a broadband concept to a narrowband environment. The site launched in eight European countries in the local languages, in most cases on Valentine's Day 2001. In February, the first month online, there were almost 550,000 pages views.Instructions: this is an e-mail campaign. Visitors are guided through the site online. After Miss Green provides audio instructions, you will be asked to fill in a form. Different languages can be selected by clicking Language in the upper left-hand corner of the navigation bar. When testing the site, you are advised to fill in your own e-mail address as the secret lover address. You will then receive your own message by e-mail within a few mintutes of clicking Send. The link in the e-mail message will take you back to the section of the site that enables recipients of love letters to send replies. To exit the site, click Close in the left-hand corner of the navigation bar.
