Description

The idea was to set-up global digital-centric platform that give an unique opportunity for french citizens to connect and interact with local stakes thanks to Google solutions (Google Hangout, Google search, Google Trends, Youtube). Mon Débat / My Debate 2014 is a collaborative platform where candidates and voters can meet and interact.

Execution

We set up an easy-to-use high-quality group video chat with candidates where the audience could see debates in Live thanks to Live Stream on Google Hangout.

During the whole campaign, TV spots on France Televisions channels were inviting the audience to enter the debate to get themselves heard. The digital platform was offering an easy-to-use high-quality group video chat and it became a handy tool for communicating with voters. Visitors could find information about elections with video contents thanks to Google Hangout, infographics with trends thanks to Google Trends and editorial content provided by France Televisions.

Outcome

- 55 Live debates hold through Google Hangout

- Major debates in main cities with french politicians such as Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet NKM and Anne Hidalgo In Paris or Jean Claude Gaudin in Marseille.

- More than 30 infographics provided in real-time during the campaign thanks to Google Trends

- More than 750,000 views for the promotional video

- Over 1,000,000 citizens visited the platform

- + 400 articles and TV coverage with debates and Google Trends info graphics
