With the 1984 ‘Morning In America’ Ronald Reagan political ad serving as inspiration, we created an original TV spot unique to the dystopian future of The Handmaid’s Tale. Through the use of a gentle narrator and beautiful, utopian visuals, we created a piece of ‘propaganda’ that speaks to the seemingly rosy yet highly distorted ideals of the world of The Handmaid’s Tale. The spot acts as both a buzzworthy tease to the upcoming season of the award-winning drama as well as a subtle metaphor of what’s happening in the world at large.
