The batteries of smartphones, which have become essential to our daily lives, are always insufficient. It is hard to express the frustration experienced when trying to accept an urgent call only to find that the battery is empty. The idea of our in-house designers that it would be good to offer customers not simply a ‘portable mouse’ but ‘a mouse that can even charge your smartphone’, therefore led to Phone-mouse that combines both features.

Phone-mouse is designed to be narrower in width than a regular mouse, so that it is comfortable to use even on a narrow café table. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the size and form are appropriate to hold the mouse comfortably. Further, an internal power bank (1,600mAh) can charge chronically empty smartphone batteries and therefore further increases everyday usefulness.

Mouse with Emergent Power Bank(Phone-mouse) is planned as the 2016 version limited edition. In order to wow our customers, our in-house designers pour special attention into the details of each design element. With its sports car-shaped exterior, Phone-mouse also works well as a collectible and the mouse lighting up when charging or discharging gives it an additional air of sophistication.

Further, Phone-mouse supports Plug and Play and can be used wired/wirelessly (optical sensor, Bluetooth) with 1,600dpi resolution. Click, tracking sensitivity and other basic mouse input sensitivity is optimized for use with notebooks. Phone-mouse’s compact design allows users to move the cursor edge-to-edge on the monitor even when used in confined spaces.

Phone-mouse is designed with a compact size of 4.5cm width, 11cm length and 2.59cm height, and at a light weight of just 100g, is conveniently portable. The 1,600mAh internal battery not only powers the mouse, but also offers auxiliary power to charge smartphones. LED lighting allows users to check the charging status of both Phone-mouse itself and of a connected smartphone.

Unlike other, regular mice, Phone-mouse is a new concept device that offers the additional functionality of a smartphone power bank.

We provides world-class GiGA internet service (2GB video content can be downloaded within 20 seconds) and plans to commercialize 5G (over 270 times faster than LTE) by 2018. To reflect ‘speed’ as the representative quality of communication service, a sports car was selected as the design motif for Phone-mouse.

Phone-mouse is targeted towards membership customers to serve as a differentiated limited edition product and is expected to become one of main design edition products. This product’s successful launch will not only increase design competence, but also prove an example of top-rate customer care, improve brand recognition and boost employee morale.
