When today’s most talented students start looking for a job, they think about many of the same employers: Google, Apple, Amazon…flashy, famously innovative brands.
One company they rarely think about? Mastercard.
We created this film to communicate that Mastercard’s commitment to innovative, insightful products and services that increase financial access, drive economies, and improve quality of life for people around the world.
The film weaves together three perspectives: a refugee family making their first purchase with a digital aid Mastercard, a Mastercard employee who developed the technology powering the card, and a local merchant whose business welcomes refugees.
It all comes together at the moment of the “first purchase.” For the refugees, the ability to easily buy the items they need restores a sense of normalcy, confidence and optimism.
Mastercard’s products are just the beginning of the story, and represent the start of something priceless.
