In fashion magazines special ads were created using the same Alcantara fabric as on the Nokia 7200. The real Alcantara material was placed on the ad "cover" encouraging touch and stimulating tactile senses. The fabric and heavier stock papers used created standout and high impact vs other advertisements. The advertising delivered both in terms of involvement, quality and style.
Outcome
The results of the competitions were fantastic. For Elle France it was the highest number of responses they had ever had with an online contest. "I would like to express my real satisfaction with NOKIA choosing ELLE for their launch of their first fashion phone with a real fashion feel, the first phone with fabric. In close collaboration with the NOKIA agency we created a truly international integrated campaign across these 6 countries; France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain and UK."
