The narrative of a traditional skateboarding film was rewritten. Aside from capturing the No Comply trick in ways it had never been captured, the story gave a deeper perspective about the unique identities of each skater and how their radical individuality contributed to the trick’s collective evolution. At its core, the No Comply represents noncompliance and rebellion, and our film went beyond the tropes of skating to accurately capture that spirit.
