Description
Inspired as much by Spanish art and culture as the soil itself, Callegari is Spain in a bottle. We drew upon centuries of Spanish aesthetic to create a design that remains perfectly minimal and modern, finding much of our inspiration in Spanish tile design -- itself a reflection of Spanish soil. We honored the colors of Spanish cuisine with bright eggplant and shallot purples, and a shade of gold you can almost taste -- inspired by the olive oil itself.
Execution

We drew upon centuries of Spanish aesthetic to create a design that remains perfectly minimal and modern, finding much of our inspiration in Spanish tile design -- itself a reflection of Spanish soil. We honored the colors of Spanish cuisine with bright eggplant and shallot purples, and a shade of gold you can almost taste -- inspired by the olive oil itself. Using sophisticated printing techniques, we implemented the brand far beyond the main bottle.
Outcome
Callegari was officially launched at the Michelin Gala Dinner in NY and SF in October 2012, where an initial run of the product was distributed among some of the most respected international chefs. Due to the very positive response, the design successfully secured the necessary investment to fully establish the brand.
