On the Line is an 8-minute documentary short, directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Peter Berg, that tells the story of Ford and UAW workers coming together to support their fellow Americans during the greatest public health crisis in the last 100 years.

As infection rates surged across the nation: access to PPE and equipment could mean the difference between life and death for hundreds of thousands of people, including frontline workers. As the country was shutting down, Ford and United Auto Worker team members volunteered to come into work to make masks, face shields, respirators and ventilators.

Ford’s manufacturing expertise made it possible to pivot factory production lines from producing F-150s to PPE in just 10 days. This combination of ingenuity and selfless dedication is captured in the film through first hand accounts from Ford team members, UAW, hospital and frontline workers.
