The film features Benedict Cumberbatch delivering Shakespeare’s monologue All the World’s A Stage, and celebrates a lifetime of Original British Drama. With moments from seminal dramas past, present and future, it showcases the unrivalled, world class storytelling and talent of BBC Drama and re-asserts the superiority of the BBC’s drama output.

The music was an original composition working to a brief to create "a real film drama soundtrack with a contemporary twist whilst mirroring the arc of the famous Shakespeare monologue."
