When the German company FESTOOL wanted to introduce their professional tools to the private market, they developed an interactive campaign: It showed how quickly and efficiently their products get the job done. In this banner, a FESTOOL padsaw is seen cutting straight through a black area. When finished, the cut ‘board’ falls down. That means: the incredible ability of the FESTOOL padsaw to not stray from its course. However, it’s also mentioning the total lack of any politician’s ability to do the same. Thus, the premium quality of the FESTOOL tools is communicated in a refreshing way.
