We created an asset library of garments that we matched to the extras on the shoot and then randomized the distribution over our digital double to create a library of 3000 unique people.
Using a combination of Houdini and Massive we were able to generate the murmuration alongside the digital doubles running along the beach.
The animation was a combination of motion capture and hand animation.
Green people on rigs for the in-camera performances and we'd married the two together.
The rest of the spot was a combination of plating, some CG set extension for the cubicle, crowd tiling overall enhancement work.
