Description

As media is fragmenting in the US, and there are more methods for brands to engage with consumers, branded entertainment is becoming an increasingly popular method for brands to engage consumers. They are not any current restrictions worth mentioning.

Execution

Noting gamers spent millions of hours earning online trophies, but nobody ever recognized these achievements, we created revolutionary kind of web experience: Bid for Greatness. On this website, gamers could use their virtual trophies as currency towards the purchase of real world costumes, weapons and props from the Greatness Awaits Film. Just like that, online achievements were worth more than bragging rights.

Outcome

GT6 was the highest selling exclusive PS3 title after it’s December 2013 launch. The First Love campaign was featured in news outlets across the country, garnering over 133 million earned media impressions. And with the car now an actual vehicle in the game itself, the Hudson has been downloaded over 500,000 times and gamers have already clocked over 5.8 million miles in Mario Andretti’s First Love.
