Description

Knowing that memorable, relevant, unique experiences are what consumers are seeking, MasterCard set out to offer their cardholders new ways to put priceless into their lives.

That’s the idea behind Priceless Tables.

Priceless Tables are a series of 14 unique dining experiences in surprising settings: the Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at the foot of the T-Rex in the Field Museum in Chicago, in right field in Dodger Stadium, on the lot at Universal Studios. Each intimate dinner (40 guests tops) is hosted by an admired chef like Marcus Samuelsson, Graham Elliott or Ludo Lefebvre.

Proceeds from the tables went to our partner Stand Up To Cancer, to support groundbreaking research.

The only way to get a set at a Priceless Table is with your MasterCard.

Execution

When you create an experience worthy of the word “priceless”, design is everything. Every detail of each experience was one of a kind.

At Dodger stadium a beautifully lit walkway led across center field to a candlelit table. At the Field Museum, menus were engraved on limestone.

Outcome

The goal of the dinners was to create an experience that would resonate with cardholders, increase affinity and brand love for the MasterCard brand.

Priceless Tables and the broader partnership with Stand Up to Cancer made a very positive impact on MasterCard brand perceptions among the target, with measurable increases in overall brand perception, net promoter score, perceived relevance, and trust.

In fact, the Priceless Tables were such a success in 2015 that MasterCard has extended the Priceless Tables program into 2016.
