Execution

The main execution was a documentary style film for facebook, youtube and TV. In the film, Mr. Cândido tells people about his life of sharing at Nobre and talks about the importance of real sharing. Sharing crazy vídeos is ok, but Portugal needs real sharing. As he says this, we see him being surprised by a Harlem Shake, watching some kids dancing like Psy and almost being hit by a real portuguese skater, that became famous because a funny video. In the end, he challenges people to share his film. For every share, Nobre will donate 50gr to the Portuguese Food Bank.

Outcome

The results where outstanding:

The post of the campaign on facebook was the most shared in Portugal in September.

In just one month, Nobre’s film had 87,603 shares, with a viral reach of 10 million people.

During the campaign Nobre’s facebook was the number 2 in interaction in Portugal.

The sales of Mr. Cândido Recipe of Ham topped the expected numbers by 160%. (Predicted: 18 tons. Sold: 47 tons)

The best result: Nobre was able to donate 6 tons of food do the Portuguese Food Bank. Enough to feed a village of 90 people for a month.
