Description

Pedigree’s “Feed the Good” campaign was born from a simple truth that dogs make us better people. The latest film, “Recovery,” features a man struggling with alcohol addiction. We begin with our hero on the phone with his addiction sponsor. There is a distinct vulnerability in his voice, as he states with cautious optimism that he’s been sober for 86 days – looking forward to 87. The footage of this conversation is intercut with a shot of our hero, alone, walking then pausing in front of a local bar. We witness the struggle on his face as he decides whether to go inside. Suddenly, something stops him –pulling him away. As the frame widens, we reveal it was the man’s dog, who just wants to continue their walk. The man recognizes that his dog’s support has helped him overcome his internal struggle. Title: Dogs bring out the good in us.
