A Surgeon and a Hospital Administrator are apologizing to a distraught Patient in the hospital’s recovery room when we hear a phone ring from inside the Patient’s belly.

After a brief internal struggle, the Doctor can’t help himself and taps the Patient’s belly to answer the call.

As the Doctor proceeds to have a quick conversation with his Wife, we realize that the Doctor accidentally left his phone in the Patient during surgery.

The Doctor hangs up and tries to get back to the serious business at hand. As he assures the Patient we’re going to “make you better” the voice-activated automated assistant feature of his phone engages and begins reciting the recipe to “make butter.”

Over this unusual awkwardness, while we hear how to make homemade butter, a title appears: “You’re careless when you’re hungry,” followed by “Snickers Satisfies.”

Given the ridiculous, dire situation, we felt it was important that the performances be true to human behavior, so that we are the ones laughing, not the characters in the scene – they are very not “in” on the joke. This led us to cast actors with a specific talent for playing the emotional truth of the situation, while making us laugh with their internal struggles.

The process itself spanned from New York to Los Angeles, where we searched for the very best, most believable talent we could find.
