Red Collectoin was the Coca-Cola summer campaign in the Nordic countries in 2001. The clue was to collect points by registering a unique code printed on each Coca-Cola label. Depending on how many points you had, you could buy Coca-Cola summer gear. The pay-off was Gear up for Summer!. Our task was to make an ad which would brand Coca-Cola Red Collection and be a showcase for the different gear you could buy. We made an interactive board where the user could compete with Fred (an animated version of the character from the films). You could pull a pump up and down in order to drink faster than Fred. Each time you lost, you got to see a different product that you could buy. (As it was impossible to beat him, but you seemed to be very close each time ...) The banner was a huge success, being played by over 100,000 people within a short period of time.
