Therapiste is a web series which puts on stage 3 excessive women who confesses their addiction to a therapist obsessed with hair. The series takes place in a consulting room of a psychologist who is a little bit curious, who sees in each patient’s confession, a hidden capillary pain. Each episode presents a woman with a real defined psychology, the hair type and the bad treatment that goes with. When the patient is confessing herself, the psychologist who is on her back, has a view over her hair. The way he looks at them makes us understand that the hair is his main interest.

As far as the patient is concerned, she talks about her life, but quickly, the therapist brings her back to her capillary past. The films end with a revelation, when the therapist give her the solution for her hair issue.

THERAPIST

Are you nervous?

PATIENT

I don’t get nervous anymore.

THERAPIST

Then it would seem that you like to control things.

PATIENT

I like things to be the way I like them to be. We live in a messy world. I’m just… just doing what I can.

THERAPIST (GESTURING)

It’s really fascinating how straight you are, dead straight. And how do you do it?

PATIENT (CONFUSED)

Excuse me?

THERAPIST

You know, one can fall into damaging patterns without even noticing it.

PATIENT

There is no damage to report.

THERAPIST (CONFIDENT)

Yes, there is.

PATIENT

No, there isn’t.

THERAPIST

Yes, there is darling.

PATIENT

No.

THERAPIST

Yup.

PATIENT

I disagree.
