In this film, an actor who is quickly recognisable to Australian audiences, is standing in a pub with his friends. He turns to camera and tells us he has been in more beer ads than anyone else. And all he has been told to do is smile, sip and laugh a bit. He then realises he’s holding a Carlton Zero with 0.0% alcohol. This is his chance to do all the things he has always wanted to do. He then proceeds to go swimming (while drinking beer), operate heavy machinery (while drinking beer) and drive a car (while drinking beer). The film ends with the brand’s tagline “rewrite the rules.”
