"SAMURAI NOODLES" is based on the true story of the birth of instant noodles.

The founder of NISSIN FOODS HOLDINGS and "Originator" of instant noodles, Momofuku Ando, is visualized as a Samurai.

The animation is a fine hybrid of hand drawn images, digital images, 3DCG and 2DCG. 

The 360 camera movement around the character, and sense of depth throughout the film was the result of layers of still images, making it almost look like a 3D animation.
