Description
After a tragic accident, the accident area is cleaned, and lost lives again hardly be remembered. We decided to pay tribute to the lives of the people who died in traffic accidents caused by alcohol consumption. The best way to do that was making sculptures with pieces of crushed cars.
Execution
Using only pieces and parts of wrecked cars, we created sculptures of people. The sculptures were placed in the Polanco neighborhood, located west of Mexico City, in an area where young people often visit bars and then walk some streets to get to your car and go home. These sculptures remained for a whole weekend.
Outcome
In such a busy area in the City of Mexico, where daily shipments of 87,000 people leaving their work between 6 and 8 pm are generated, we get about 16 thousand people saw the sculptures for a weekend.
