Description
“Loss of control” represents the repercussions of a motorcycle accident on a rider, but also on his family and friends at the time of the accident and in the future too. At the beginning, the film shows a motorcyclist casually riding on a familiar road. Suddenly, an animal appears out of nowhere causing him to lose control and lay the motorcycle down. The first part is shot at actual speed, but when the shock happens, it switches to extreme slow motion, giving the film a more symbolic dimension. The motorcyclist’s relatives appear and are seen in the middle of the crash, helpless, following his fall. Metaphorically, it is as if his loss of control carried them away with him. A voice over, along with the camera which shows each person, explains their connection to the victim and the consequences of the tragedy on their current but also future lives.
