Description

Burger King launched the Singles fries, the first fries to be sold individually. They are prepared for each order and carefully wrapped by our teams. You can chose one of the three sizes, season them as you wish and, above all, no one will ever again ask you… “Can I steal you a fry?”

Execution

On March 30th, we launched a video on PR and on social media announcing the launch of our new product: the Single Fries.

In all our restaurants, we communicated around our “coming soon” new product, with billboards and with our team members briefed to tell people that of course, this product will be available in few days.

We never had to reveal the prank: after two days, people was still talking about the Single Fries, so they realized that we were April 1st and that maybe we were joking… then we had a second wave of media apparitions!

Outcome

- More than 250 media apparitions

- Over 50 000 shares on social networks

- Over 100 million people has been reached, and a lot of them believed in the launch of our new product

- 74% of the reach has been organic, thanks to PR and to social engagement…
