Description

As Mo Farah bids farewell to the track at this month's IAAF World Championships, Nike honour the man with this intense commercial. Beginning with Farah's trademark celebration, the mood quickly changes. As we all know, life isn't all smiles and Mobots.

What follows is a visual workout. We see Farah train through blood, sweat, and more blood. We see the mocking smile of an exercise poster; an icy bloodbath; and gymnastic rings evoking the Olympic logo.

Meanwhile, George the Poet delivers a lyrical pep talk. Given Farah's struggles with doping allegations, "You've fought through the darkest hours of the night" feels particularly relevant. There may be more battles ahead on this front, but the brand are focused on the present - now that's something worth smiling about.
