The solution for the new Predator delivers maximum impact by demonstrating the incredible power of the boot. In one film, Michael Ballack takes aim at a hoop held up by a trainer. However, having a wicked streak, he smacks it right into the trainer's family jewels. In another Steven Gerrard belts the ball at clay pigeons launched by Xabi Alonso. Finally he nails one in mid flight.
Outcome
The films launch on the adidasTV Channel and are seeded on targeted Football Club websites and football sites, like footieboots.com and soccerbible.com as well as video channels like YouTube and Metacafe. A brand conversation on fan blogs is introduced and the films are PR’d on Sky Sports, the BBC, Soccer AM, The Sun, The Daily Mirror, the Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and TV Sports/Magazine programmes and newspapers all over Europe.
