Description

The film takes us alongside Kathy Ku, on her journey in realizing a single idea can become a catalyst for positive change in the world. While spending a summer teaching in Uganda, Ku experienced a most-critical problem facing families -- access to clean drinking water -- and she decided to do something about it.

Ku’s experience is filmed in a cohesive narrative that demonstrates the power of ideas to influence change. We watch as Ku’s idea process unfolds -- as she uses her background in engineering to create a water filter that removes harmful bacteria, and as a full team joins her, helping scale her invention and distribute her product across Uganda. The content, and Ku’s drive, inspire us to do more.

We believe storytelling can change the world, and in this film, we focused our lens on showing how transformational ideas, from anyone and anywhere, can unleash genius.
