Description

Sprite is Germany’s market leader in clear lemon lemonades. Sprite’s operative calendar for 2002 predominantly focuses on basketball. Next to the TV Spot Cool the second Pillar of Sprite Activities will be the DNBA – the Dirk Nowitzki Basketball Academy. Dirk Nowitzki is Germany’s most successful basketball player of all times, currently playing with the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. The DNBA is a foundation powered by Sprite. It provides for everyone the chance to apply and take part in selection processes, which in the end will qualify the five most talented young basketball players to travel to the US for one practice week. The Website’s main objective is to provide all interested young people, male and female between age 16 and 29 with the most detailed information source for this event. Designed using Sprite brand colours in a hip-hop graffiti-style, the Flash-Site has a target group adequate appearance which reflects the modern urban way of life. Through its individual, spontaneous and individual user interface, it reflects the speed, the energy and the spirit which lie within this magnificent sport and the brand Sprite. In various sections, the site visitors can learn all about the two screenings, the DNBA-Academy and the Winner’s Trip to the US Training Camp. One section deals with all the time schedules, the event locations and the entertainment programs. In several updates the site will be brought up-to-date as soon as one part of the event has taken place. After the event, a summary will remain on the Web as a claim for an outstanding sporting event coupled with an entertaining experience for all participants.
