Background

Opening with a girl buying a bottle of Coca-Cola and walking out into the street, each sip is a journey to victory. As she looks up, a cloud of red smoke appears, a single piece of confetti flutters down into her hand and faint cheering can be heard in the distance. The street fills with people celebrating their her victory as music and street parties spread the magic of the World Cup.

"Street Hero" illustrates the magic of the Fifa World Cup. Starting at a quiet market, and traversing down empty streets wehre a cloud of red smoke appears, a single piece of confetti fluttering down, faint cheers that grow in the distance, to streets filled with people celebrating in anticipation of the magic that comes along with the World Cup.

Execution

Coca-Cola's FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign, “Believing Is Magic,” features the one-minute “Street Hero” that depicts a young woman on a deserted street gulping Coca-Cola. Soon she is surrounded by crowds holding flags and cheering and confetti falling from the sky. As she makes her way through the now-packed celebratory streets, the young woman revels in the community and shared experiences. The spot ends with onscreen text reading, “Believing is Magic.”
