Study with Snacks: 3 kits to study about space using snacks developed with the support of JAXA (Japanese NASA). 1. If the Earth was a Choco Ball: This kit helps kids learn how big or far away planets and the sun is using snacks. 2. Sweet and Salty Summer Constellations: This kit helps kids find, imagine and from their original constellations using snacks. 3. Weird Astronaut Test: Based on an actual astronaut test, kids can learn about qualities needed to become an astronaut. All kits include existing snack products but are repackaged in a unique way with each snack serving as a study supporting material. This simple but very unique way turned existing snacks into fun studying tools for kids..

1.If the Earth was a Choco Ball is a kit where kids can learn about the size and distance of planets in our Solar system by downsizing the Earth 10 billion times to the size of a Choco Ball candy. This kit consists of Choco Ball, Fizz Candy, Chocolate Chip cookie, measure and textbook inside an Earth shaped package. 2. Sweet and Salty Summer Constellations is a kit helps kids find, imagine and from their original constellations using snacks. This kit consists of fizz candy, potato stick candy, constellation map and workbook in a half-dome package. 3. Weird Astronaut Test is based on an actual astronaut test, kids can learn about qualities needed to become an astronaut. This kit consists of caramels, chewing candy, ice cream sticks and a textbook in a rocket shaped package. The product is already launced and sold in spacial shops.

3000 kids used these kits at home and at workshops to learn about space. Some even submitted them as their summer research homework to schools. We were interviewed by TV, newspapers and magazines on this new concept of combining snacks and studying, adding a whole new value to snacks. Many kids and their parents were surprised science could be this friendly, tasty and fun! We are now working on a second study with snacks project where kids would be able to study another subjects. The model uses existing snacks so it is very sustainable all we need is ideas!
