Description
The objective was to draw attention to the new sushi takeaway store and thus to win new customers.
Execution
In line with the Sushi to go offers of the new takeaway store, a costumed artist escorted a promotion team on stilts. Because his costume looked like a giant sushi roll, his stilts looked like chopsticks. In addition, the promotion team handed out free sushi taste samples.
Outcome
Most passers-by stopped to take a taste-sample. Many of them took pictures of the giant sushi roll on stilts. During the promotion period the new takeaway store was rewarded with almost twice the number of customers targeted.
