"Record" features Team USA speed skater Apolo Ohno inside an empty arena as he prepares for the Winter Games. As he begins, we follow each forceful stride as Apolo goes faster and faster. He continues to gain speed, skating with so much force that the ice actually begins to crack—eventually breaking away from the walls of the rink completely. We pan back to see Apolo, in place and in perfect form, moving the ice underneath him. The spot ends with the line “When you're the fastest, anything's possible”—a reminder for us all to strive for the never-been-done. A concept true to everything AT&T does.
