Amazingly, at the beginning of each episode we managed to get Chris Tarrant to invite viewers to press the red button and play alongside the studio contestant. Upon pressing the red button a text overlay appeared on the screen. Using their remote, the viewer selected their answer, and as long as they answered prior to the studio contestant, their score was shown in the menu bar at the top third of the screen.
