Nowadays there are not many touch points left where we can reach customers on their way from A to B.

To promote T- MOBILE’s X-Mas offers we redesigned Vienna’s most frequented down town underground station ‘Stephansplatz’ and set up a new and exclusive digital media experience. We set up a tailored video installation incl. sound across the whole subway station to present T- MOBILE’s TVC in an outstanding manner.During night shifts we mounted 21 flat screens and 400m² of banded foil. We laid 6km of cable to run the signal to all media spaces simultaneously. The highlights of the installation were four huge HD projections which completed the first digital media experience in the Austrian Telco market.

By dominating our touch point we not only made sure that T- MOBILE’s message was delivered but also gave the subway station a digital magenta touch for not less than three weeks.

Outcome

This first digital station branding among the Telco brands again confirmed T- MOBILE’s clear proposition as an innovative pioneer in this industry. We delivered T- MOBILE’s Xmas message as well as the iPhone4 promotion in a surprising way, staged in an exclusive environment where no other advertiser was available.

Free PR and the positive reaction of Vienna’s shopping crowd reflected the success of T- MOBILE’s creative implementation. Within three weeks 3.6 Million passengers have experienced the digital world of T- MOBILE.
