We created an in-store app experience called the Amplify It Music Mixer that lets shoppers immerse themselves in music while trying on different headphones. We partnered with School Of Rock and had 6 of their musicians play different instruments. Shoppers can silence any instrument to hear how the headphones reproduce each specific sound. Interactions with the app are showcased on a 10’ x 7.6’ wall for others to view.
Outcome
In-store audio-accessory sales soared, especially compared to stores that didn’t yet have the experience. The Mixer also played an integral role in changing brand perception, positioning Verizon as the go-to place for mobile accessories.
