Background
For decades, founder Uwe Ehinger has been travelling the world as a collector and retailer of rare Harley Davidson motorcycles from the 1930s and 40s. He has literally been digging remote scrapyards and garages throughout the world just to find those special machines.
This dedication has earned him a nickname in the scene: ‘The Archaeologist’.
We asked ourselves, what would a promotional item have to look like, in order to transport the vision and character of Uwe and his brand. We wanted to capture the accuracy and passion of Uwe’s work without losing its industrial heritage, as well as channeling the joy of riding an old Harley Davidson motorbike.
Execution
Every element of our hand-made packaging consists of colours and materials that were already used in the 30s and 40s – a meticulous rendition of the packaging technology of the era in which the contained bike parts have originally been crafted.
