THE BIG NIGHT

Christmas eve, snow falling outside, a boy is at home enjoying the moments that come before santa claus arrival. He calmly looks at every detail: the brightness of the Christmas tree, the cookies at the table and the chimney through which santa will come down. He looks out the window waiting for the big moment. When Santa arrives the boy leaves the house without being noticed. Outside he looks into the eyes of one of the reindeers, hugs her and unleashes the buckle of her saddle and then freeing all other reindeers from Santa’s sled. They fly freely through the skies full of stars. The film ends.

The film was produced with 3D technology. Using software like Maya, Nuke, After Effects and others considered mainstream. We worked from the start with the concept that involved the main story .

The story guided the script, the surprise of the end . We developed the concept art to adopt the style of the characters and scenarios , we define modeling with Mudbox software.

Approving this step we started to complete the animation and lighting scenes. The final composition did a job finishing, effects and color.
