Description
The day after, WE had two soccer matches scheduled to air at the
same time, one from the American League and the other from the
Mexican League. To take advantage of the buzz created by Trump
and promote the two matches, we had an idea: to do a broadcasting
with both the matches on the same screen, separated by a wall.
Execution
ON MARCH 18th, at 7:00PM, in the day after trumps announce, WE STARTED LIVESTREAMING THE TWO MATCHES LIVE on facebook. On each side OF THE WALL we promoted our message: In Sports, there is no wall. Watch this American league match now on Fox Sports and this Mexican League match on Fox Sports 2.
Outcome
WE HAD 16 MILLION MEDIA IMPRESSIONS with all the majors newspaper in Mexico talking about our action.
THE LIVE ON FACEBOOK REACHED MORE THAN
1.2 MILLION PEOPLE AND CARRIED MANY OF
THEM TO THE TV, GIVING TO FOX SPORTS MEXICO THE
1ST PLACE AMONG ALL SPORTS CHANNELS IN PAY-TV.
